What is Leather Courses Britain?
Leather Courses Britain is a leatherwork training provider run by GDH Leatherwork. Our courses have been featured in ‘The Guardian’s Do Something’ supplement, on The Lady Magazine website and in many popular national and local magazines. For your added reassurance, we also have plenty of very happy students who have left glowing reviews at the bottom of each course page.
We are located at the foot of the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. We offer one, two, three or five day professional leather courses which are equally suitable for both men and women. Our courses are run from the picturesque old village chapel. We have generous workspaces, friendly, knowledgeable staff, good company and great reviews; why not come and join us for a day or two spent learning the art of traditional leatherwork?
We run a variety of leather courses ranging from a beginners hands-on weekend ‘taster’, to a five day intensive leather-working week. You can spend a weekend making a beautiful hand stitched leather bag, or choose a two or three day course making luxurious leather desk or keepsakes containers. Perhaps you’d like to try something artistic such as leather sculpture on our one day leather mask making course, or come along to our weekend taster course to experiment with leather workers tools and techniques.
If you’re thinking of coming along on your own, don’t be concerned as we’re an all girl team and you can be assured of a warm welcome. And with a minimum of two tutors on every course, you can also be assured of plenty of support and encouragement during the course.
If you like the idea of spending a creative weekend with a small group of friends, then just get in touch as we can offer one, or two day group bookings either during the week, or at weekends.
Many of our leather courses are suitable for complete beginners and we’re happy to advise if you’re not sure. Just drop us an email and we’ll get straight back to you.
